Software Upgrade Vs. Full Install
A Software Upgrade will
upgrade the Wholehog OS
without reformatting your hard drive or erasing your showfiles.
The Full Install will reformat the console's HDD
(hard drive) reinstalling the complete OS(s) and erasing your
showfiles. Yes, your externally saved Backup showfiles can be
loaded back in to the console after this Install is complete. Full
Installs are not always required, but sometimes are the only way to
update certain drivers.
